She Was Crying

by Dominique   Apr 15, 2006

She was crying
when i opened the door
tears were flowing down her face
as she flung her bags on the floor.

I knew something was wrong
as she laid you on the bed
i knew something went wrong
maybe something your father must have said.

She refused to talk
went into the bathroom all alone
told me she had enough
in an awful tone

There you lay wailing
your eyes searching for her
Your mother died that day
Because none of us could help her

Yes i am more responsible for her death than your father
because i was her sister
I promised to love her.
And yet I wasn't able to stop her.

I am sorry you never knew her
She was truly wonderful,
She would have been a great mother
And made your life beautiful

But she was weak
unable to cope with strain
when she fell down
it was hard for her to get goin again

Yeah everyday I see her in you
You hair your eyes
Your heart too

I know all these years i kept you in the blue
You thought I was your mother
But I so badly wanted to be too
I thought i could fix your life
As I had ruined it before

I am sorry,
You need to know,
and since you are reading this
Probably I am Dead by now
Good bye my sweet angel
my rock star my everything
I hope one day you will be able to forgive me
I hope it shall not be to late.
