Troubled Eyes

by Catty   Apr 15, 2006

Dark hair covers troubled eyes,
a good heart-but one that cries,
for lost love; a shattered soul,
the happiness he knew was the object he stole,
broken hearts have become his new alibi,
for relationships that may never live-but refuse to die,
secrets within break the smile that no longer appears ,
as he blasts the music that penetrates his ears,
immortal eyes with tears that never fall,
his body becomes a maze;up comes a new wall,
blocking out the scarns that refuse to heal,
each adding to the existing pain he can't avoid to feel,
an understanding hand longs to touch his uneasy face,
as he surpressed the emotion she wishes she could erase,
shattered hearts destroy his broken dreams,
with the pillow over his mouth; his body screams,
silently; for help which he doesn't know is there,
resting in the heart of the one person who cares.
good friends is all that he wishes them to be
he doesn't realize, the antidote, is the love he can make with me.
