Tell him

by swiftcat   Apr 15, 2006

Before your heart becomes a bloodstain as love's bullet hits the floor
Before you're standing, just a shadow left behind his door
Reach deep inside and find the courage you'd thought you'd left behind
Take your last breath in and tell him

Tell him everything

Tell him of the tears that you face each morning when you wake up, finding you're alone
Tell him how how the thought of him got you through the rain and helped to guide you home
Tell him everynight you cried in pain because you knew he wouldn't phone
Tell him how he looks at her rips through your hope, and sinks it like a stone

Tell him
Set in stone, you can walk away and know that it's behind you
Tell him
And when his walls fall down around, he'll know just where to find you
Tell him
Just in case he feels the same, you won't have to be alone
Tell him
Be brave be strong, before the chance is blown

Never know what will happen tomorrow
But I'll give you some advice for free
Tell him you need him
'Cos when I told him, he needed me

Tell him.
