I cant live the way you want me to,
Because its only making me hate you,
Im not going to be another version of you,
Because its not what I do.

Im not into school as much as you wish,
And despite what you think, Im not popular,
I dont want to be like you at all,
Emotionally, Im already scarred.

Youve caused me to rebel,
Against everything you are,
I refuse to be a walking example of what you are,
You wont let me be me.

I hate everything you think you are,
The way you think you know whats best,
The way you control me,
The way you think youre better than the rest.

Everybody needs someone,
And you think that for me youre that someone,
You dont get it,
When it comes down to it, you I want to shun.
