I woke up

I woke up this morning halfway in my dream
I was dreaming i was with you
I woke up as i was saying i love you

then as i started calling out for you
i realized you were nowhere near me
and reality was it was all a dream
and the tears raised to my eyes as i i thought to myself
baby, i need you with me

i went throughtout the day wishing for the phone to ring
and each time it did it was never you
why have you gone, and left me alone?
don't you realize how much i miss you?

i pray to god to bring you back to me soon
because i need to see your face
and feel your body against mine again
thank you lord, for this grace
