Why do I still love you?

The days passed and turned to weeks.
The weeks passed and turned to months.
The months are passing and soon will turn a year.
The years will pass too soon I fear.

What was it that happened?
I thought we were so good.
Our time was so much fun.
I thought you felt it too.

Maybe I was wrong.
What if you really were the same?
But I couldn't help but love you.

Now I can not tell you.

That is not what happened.
