Heaven

Each day i wake up not knowing what life will bring
each day i watch you lay there suffering
i wonder why life has to be so unfair
that's just something no one will ever understand

people say that the world above
is filled with happiness and filled with love
so why down here does life have to be so damn cruel
to all of the innocent people like you?

i search through your memories 'til i run out of time
i see a distant picture of you in my mind
your smiling face that is free from pain
but it's disappeared and it slowly faded away

i walk for miles just tryin to understand
but this i can't easily comprehend
you fought this fight now it's the end of the road
it's time to say goodbye and let you go

you're going where there's no rejection
to a land thats free from hunger, disease and poverty
i don't know why or when but its heaven
and you're going there
