I'm Sorry, Come Back

by manic moments   Apr 16, 2006

I wait next to the phone
Waiting for you to call
The pain in my heart is plainly shown
This is how I fall

My first mistake
Was thinking I can do what I want
All I could do was take
And take you out to flaunt

I used you
How sad I am
The tears beg for a tissue
To stop this flowing dam

I'm sorry
So sorry for this
Now I worry
There is something I now miss

I want to find
This person I hurt
I hope you don't mind
If I wear your name on my shirt

I'm so stupid
My dreams are now shattered
I need you cupid
To fix this love I have battered

I didn't hit you
But I might as well have
All those fights, more then a few
I will try to behave

I am ready for the words
That you want to fling upon me
They group together in herds
And form a punch, and slam in to the me I use to be

Please come back
I am sick of this emotional torture
I love you, and that a fact
I want you for the future

PLease comment on this poem, I would like to know what you all think and see if I need to improve.
