In dreams I saw

Your pretty face

I saw the way

To a better place

I saw a future

Shining bright

I saw pleasure

And delight

I saw rain

And I saw sun

I saw children

I saw pain

I found away

Around these things

I saw myself smiling

I saw myself cry

I saw myself thinking

I saw myself die

But I saw so many wonderful things

But hey, it was only a dream
