My Bid

I never felt my heart brake,
until you made me cry.
I thought we were together for loves sake,
but then you said good-bye.

After you left me,
all i thought of was you.
I didnt realize how hard it\'d be,
or how much i\'d be blue.

The pain seemed to go on forever,
though i knew it wouldnt always be there,
But i was wrong when i thought we\'d always be together,
so i was wrong again, because it\'s still so hard to bear.

Whenever i think of you,
i try to think of why.
I know there wa nothing i could do, to keep you from saying good-bye.

You were always on my mind,
you were in everything i said or did.
For you i am still blind,
so on your heart, i\'d like to place a bid.

My bid is higher than any other can go,
nothing else can ever compare.
My bid is something you cant just blow,
but it\'s also something with me you can share.

What i bid, i\'d only give to you,
i want to forget our part.
I bid for everything to start over new,
so my bid is....my heart.
