Seems like dream

It all seems like a dream
that will last an eternity
but as the echoes fade away
i turn to see your face
filled with the tears
you've been holding back for years
but i know that it will be ok
somehow
as we walk through the grass holding hands
it seems so perfect,
just you and me
we've made it this far
no turning back now
and even though it seems
like it was all just another dream
i wake to you staring back at me
