Broken Hope

Hopes so high
But then crash down
Once a smile
Now a frown
She walks alone
Looks to the sky
Prays to God
She wants to know why
At night she cries
Wants someone near
To be alone in life
Is her biggest fear
It hurts so bad
This pain she feels
Wake up from this dream
To find it's real
She runs away
To her dreams in sleep
Fading memories
She fights to keep
Losing grip
Of false hopes high
She wants to scream
Instead she cries
Losing faith
And losing hope
She's near the end
Of lifes short rope
She wants to get out
She wants to be free
From mistakes she's made
But she has to pay a fee
She hates how she feels
It's so hard to cope
