Please read this poem. I'm going to give this to this girl i like on her birthday when she turns 16. then she can date. this poem has a story behind it and i m waiting for her to turn 16.please tell me what you think about this idea and read my other poems thanks.

I said that I loved you,
You said you did too.
But your parents said no boyfriend,
I thought that was the end.
Until you turn 16,
That day would be my dream.
But then we started fighting,
Inside I was dying.
Days turned to years,
Out came the tears.
Now the hate was gone,
But it didn't last for long.
You liked other guys,
I gave so many tries.
People asked what I'm waiting for,
I said December 4th 2004
But your love kept on bending,
To me you weren't sending.
I pray for you at nights,
Love me again you might.
People ask why,
When she only makes you cry.
I'll never give up,
I gotta keep my head up,
I know I can make it,
I just gotta take it.
My love for you is jaded,
But it never faded.
I've waited for a life time,
I'm down on my last lifeline,
409 years,
Of nothing but tears.
I didn't think my love would last,
I thought inn time that it would pass.
I've waited for so long,
Ever since you've been gone.
I've waited for you,
You know that it's true,
This is my dream;
You're finally 16.
