Little girl

by emmaroo   Apr 18, 2006

She’s a little girl young n small
She’s forever waiting to become tall.

When she cries her tears forever fall
She not a bad little girl at all

She looks out of her dusty window as children all play
It’s the only time her mind can drift away.

She can hear her neighbours play her favourite song
As she quietly dances along.

She tries to talk or call for her mum n dad
But instead they become scared and her little brother frightened and sad

Ever since one day something bad happened she thought "it wasn’t my fault I swear"

But since then everyone ignored her it wasn’t fair

She’s lonely n withdrawn very much
She longs for them to feel her touch

Her family cry for her most of the time they do it daily n nightly well that’s a lot
But when she tries to comfort them it doesn’t work she gets confused do they love her or not?

Everybody ignores her as if she is not around but mummy n daddy do it most

However this little girl doesn't realise that she is not actually here she is a spirit, a ghost.
