Tale Of What He Left Behind.( Soulmates, a blessing or a curse?)

by Poppy   Apr 18, 2006

Lost without that saving hand,
Fallen to the ground,
Surrounded by bleeding mist,
A raven black wave flows freely around her.

Love has forsaken her,
Life has forbidden her,
Trust is laughing at her,
And she bleeds for him.

Cold grey eyes watch times change,
Tears fall and try to fill the empty space,
She's lost inside, her faith gone,
He died, leaving her to live with out him.

Soulmates, a blessing or a curse?

Two hands join, lips meet.
He loved her, and died,
She'll love no other,
For love has forsaken her.

She lay upon the dying earth,
And cried for all her worth,
She shall not continue,
For life has forbidden her.

Trust in love not to hurt you,
Trust in live not to end,
Trust in me I'll not forsake you,
And trust shall laugh at you.

And she bleeds for him,
And I bleed for you,
And I'll love you forever,
You loved me never.

With each turn of the wheel,
Time try's to heal,
Ever falling tear,
Will not bring him near.

Whispered spells,
Screamed out curses,
From ending sprouts beginning,
From death there will be life.

So she dies...

I loved how you told a story in your poem. It wasn't just emotions on the paper, even though you did great expresses emotions. But it told me a story and made the ending even more of a shocker. I loved it.
