Smiling Like Nothing's Wrong.

by Miss Megan   Apr 18, 2006

Smiling like nothing's wrong,
Hiding behind a laugh.
Just letting everyone see,
The fakeness of my better half.

Making it through the day,
With just more sadness gained.
But not sharing with anyone,
No one knows how much I'm pained.

Watching the blood drip at night,
Letting my scars be revealed.
But never opening up with the truth,
Just using false happiness as my shield.

Wishing the dreadful hurt would cease,
Just wanting and needing to be gone.
But still I keep on going,
Smiling like nothing's wrong.
