FAILED

Looking back
all i see are mistakes and
broken promises that i could not see past
now that I've slowed down
...and I'm not falling so fast-
i realize why we couldn't last

now that we've said goodbye
and I've fallen asleep with no tears left to cry
and i
buried your memory 6 feet under
I've give "us" a chance to die
now there's no more pretending, no more lies

i should have let go sooner, i guess
i should have given in like all the rest
i failed the test
I've no reason to feel sad
no reason to regret
you're happy now- so why am i depressed?
