The love between me and my daddy
Is hard to understand
When I fall over
He's the one to help me stand

The love is special
I'll always be my daddy's girl
I'll always be close
I'll always be his world

Daddy's girl at heart
Daddy's girl at home
When I'm with my daddy
I'll never walk alone

When I laugh you laugh
When you cry I cry
We're there for each other
To help us get us by

So here's to you daddy
From your special girl

    I really enjoyed this poem. Its nice to see people not taking their fathers for granted. I lost my dad when i was young and this shows what life was like with me and my dad before he died. Touched my heart so thank you for writing it.
