Friends for life, that's what we said
If not for you, I might be dead
You were there when I needed you the most
For if you had not, I would be toast
Or, quite possibly, a ghost
Your friendship means more than you'll ever know
And I hope it continues to grow
The bond we have is getting stronger everyday
And maybe someday, I will get to repay
For what is greater than saving a friend's life?
When you did, my parents were saved additional strife
So friends 'til the end we shall be
