Listen to me

I try to tell you constantly,
But my words are never enough,
All you do is tell me,
Those words that are so rough,

When you look at me,
Our eyes meet but yet,
You do not see the pain,
My eyes hold dearly and wet,

Even though we do not talk,
I need to make you see,
The pain I feel inside,
That is slowly is killing me,

You do not see my crying,
Cause no one ever knows,
I cry secretly and silently,
Especially when I am alone,

No hand is ever offered,
When I cry for the help of god,
I look at you so desperately,
And I bet you think I’m odd,

Just as if it were before,
When nobody even knew,
That I loved you so,
Because I knew you where always true,

You never tried to impress,
Upon anyone of any sort,
You always were yourself,
And kind to those so short,

You always helped the young,
And defended for the weak,
But once I saw these feelings,
I knew there was a leak,

I know that you and I could never be,
And my friend I knew you would never see
Why I have these feelings for you,
Cause you will not listen to me.
