What a weekend I must admit
I am really glad things turned out the way they did
However now that it is over Im really not sure
How much of this charade I can endure
A great weekend we had, that it was
But things have not changed or have they because
I mentioned something to you the other day and now
It seems as if you have gone astray
I have a feeling things will be over soon
Not that there was anything to lose from the beginning
Except for our friendship that I hold so dear
Perhaps I am not making myself clear
Whatever happened between us the other day
Doesnt seem to matter, was it just a game?
You say that you are different and Im trying hard to believe you
But for the sake of our friendship Im throwing my feelings away.
Goodbye my friend I know that I will miss you
It is a shame things didnt work out to be something more
I would rather have you as a friend
But now its seems that, that as well has come to an end.
