Seeing you today made me remember
all the good times we used to have
the way you used to love me
and the way i knew you cared
i miss your tender lips upon mine
gently, softly, sweetly kissing me
taking me up to heaven
fireworks exploded in my head
every time I'd see you
butterflies would flutter in my tummy
when it was you and me no-one could touch us
i was on a high just being near you
your arms were so big and strong
they made me feel safe and warm
you protected me, you were my baby
and sweetheart i want you to know I'll never forget that
little Eric on your belly always makes me smile
you used to know just how to touch me
and where i was sensitive most
you put me at ease
with you i wasn't as scared
the hand on my face when we kissed
made my heart melt
and when you looked into my eyes
and said i love you
i swear i thought my knees would give way
i never felt a love so pure
i took for granted what we had
honey why did you leave so quick?
we had something special
i gave you a part of me
why was that never enough for you
when you hold me like you do it feels so right
so how can we be 'bestest of friends'
i need you more than ever
i lose sleep just to think of you
i can't do this thing without you
and when you still kiss me even though I'm not yours
how can you expect me to feel nothing?
