The Road of Life

by sandra   Apr 18, 2006

Everyone goes through that time
where their rhythm doesn't rhyme
The road to life that we travel upon,
can sometimes stop and not allow us back on
We fight through the troubles and overcome the fears,
but sometimes were left drowning in our tears
The ones you thought that meant the most,
turn out to be the ones who glide from coast to coast
From person to person they travel all their lives,
they begin to die out of all of their highs
When they come crawling back, all we can say is
you were never there to listen and would never stay
These troubles we encounter seem to be a giant mountain
but through your life they really are only a single drop from the fountain.
