Linger

by Grace   Apr 19, 2006

You've sung my heart a broken song,
and it cries and slowly drifts apart,
long gone, silently raging against the sweetness of your voice.

Oh, the soft wispers in my ear.
So pleasurable,
I cant feel your breath,
but the memories flow in my mind,
like the wind across a field of a golden ocean.
Lingering longly,
your voice dances.

You could never be wrong,
eyes of stone,
serious when the look into me,
and pull out what I could never see.

Ever since I've been alone,
I've ever longed for your eyes of stone.
Feelings of anger, hatred, and pain.

But truth be told,
you could never be wrong.
Because my love for you,
is much too strong.
