Moving on

To turn and walk away,
Is the hardest thing to do.
Knowing it is best for me,
I am so in love with you.

My candle I must let die,
The flame can no longer burn.
As I am dying slowly,
A harsh lesson I must learn.

You cant make someone love you,
No matter how hard you try.
I did all I can do,
Now tears of sorrow I cry.

So as I close this chapter,
My heart is heavy as can be.
