Wasted Tears

As i shed one last tear
Over the things you have done
Look deep into my eyes
And look what I've become

Because of you
I'm afraid to love
Emotion, trust and care
We lacked all of the above

I never meant as much to you
As you always did to me
I knew it was true
But i didn't want it to be

As each day passed
We grew further apart
Little shattered fragments
Is whats left of my heart

I've finally come to realise
Things wont ever be the same
So I'm stopping it here
And I'm stopping the pain
