Lost And Found

by Emily   Apr 19, 2006

Lost in the pain,
Trying to regain,
The strength to love once more,
Once locked behind that door.

Trying to find the truth,
Behind this unloved youth,
Thunder roared in the dead skies,
Lightning flashed disguising the lies.

But no one could save her when she fell,
Twisting and screaming in this life of hell,
All hope was lost,
In the storms she was tossed.

And then came a light,
It shone so bright,
Twas the key to her hearts love,
A key to the heavens above.

It was the shelter from the storm,
A way of knowing how she was born,
The thunder halted, awakening skies,
And lightning vanished; there was truth and no lies.

This light was the saviour for her nightmares,
Took away the pain, took away the scars,
There was no more weakness and lust,
Thrown away like invisible dust.

Its because the light that came protected her,
Protection like cold warmed by heated filled fur,
That light that saved her was love,
That light that saved her came from above.

That light that guided me away from the terrifying nightmares was you.
