Peter

by Leann   Apr 19, 2006

Lying in your bed
Our eyes hold onto each others truth
I gently touch each outline on your face
While your eyes softly shut
But I am still staring
Still feeling your porcelain skin
White and silky with mild blemishes
Strong eyebrows
Dark and thick
Your flawlessly shaped lips
A bit narrow and pouty, blushing
Always tempting me to press them upon mine
Your rich brown hair
Oily, a few days unwashed
And your baby doll emerald eyes
Smooth and delicately shaped closed
With smooth creases, peacefully at rest
Your perfection has flourished my heart
If only you could see yourself through my eyes
You would cease to wonder what it is I see in you
