My Heart is Tired

My heart is breaking of this I am sure.
That same old feeling I've had many times before.
Why must everything we love always go away?
Why can't things stay the same for just one more day?
We are given hearts only for them to break.
How much more do you think I can take?

    Yes, many a broken heart we'll have through life's journey. Mending will take place, but the scars will remain to make us stronger.
