Summer Delights

by Simon Hayes   Apr 19, 2006

Sitting on the river side,
Indulging in a book.
Wasting away the summer day,
While ducks all come to look.

The air warm and sweet.
The scent of flowers fill my nose.
Scorching summer sun
Heats the skin beneath my clothes.

Swaying plants and gliding birds
Go swiftly with the breeze.
Ducks swim ever so gracefully,
And catch the shade beneath the trees.

Summer nights are blissful,
Watch the sun set in the sky.
Stars illuminate in the firmament
As shooting stars swish by.

Nothing better than summer
To lighten up your woes,
and brighten up your day,
Chase the winter demons away.

    Oh, another naturistic masterpiece.
I loathe summer, but you paint it with such magic...
Take care and keep it up~Holly
