Twistedly Perfect

by S R P   Apr 19, 2006

If I screamed, would you hear my plea?
If I cried would you finally see me?

I want to be free;
I can't run from these dreams anymore.

Everything seems to be Kay,
but in the end
nothing is the way it seems
I'm tearing at the seams
becoming twistedly perfect to that all look.

You took my life from me,
after you decided this was the way
it was going to be,
I'm finally at the degree of burning,
yearning for something more than what I have.

You never look to see the real me
inside of this cage,
tormenting me,
wanting you,
hating me

Please turn the page,
I don't want to live this life anymore.

Being twistedly perfect
isn't so perfect anymore.
