Nights Wanderers

by Marissa   Apr 20, 2006

I'll take your hand in mine
We won't let them see us tonight
As the blood bin our veins
With these black wings we take flight

The air is like ice in my lungs
Years spent wandering alone
Unwanted by day, Forgotten by night
Just wanting somewhere to call home

Our hearts don't beat
Bust stand still in time
Feeling your lips on my skin
Our fingers E N T W I N E D

"They don't know half of what they see"
Your whispers send shivers down my spine
But I know the truth of which you speak
And after all this time i can call you mine

After seeing you night by night
Debating on whether this was the life for you
The night everything changed
The night my decision proved true

You didn't know what overcame you
It was the same for me
You body convulsed to it's change
then with your vampire eyes did you see

Do you like taking a life?
The taste of blood on your lips?
I can see the remourse in your eyes
As all sanity slips

Now we're at the end of the world
Time's stopped dead in its tracks
Look at the sea as the waves break
Death never holds the facts

This is a great piece. I can't imagine why more people haven't reviewed. I like it, though, so keep up the good work!
