My wish will come true

For many of years
of saved up wishes
when I was young
till I can remember
whenever I wished upon shooting stars
whenever I broke dried turkey wishbones
whenever a loose eyelash had fallen out
whenever I blew out birthday candles
whenever I came across a wishing well
whenever I tossed a coin in a fountain
whenever I made any kind of wish.....
I always wished for my wishes to be saved for a time,
all for a time that I really wanted to wish for something special,
Because I never cashed them in until now,
And that something special is for you...
