Wow! This is beautifully written Katie... The love you share with your friends/family at hospital is clearly and wonderfully conveyed. You don't need to lose touch with any of them, it's just your time to move on and carry on with your life outside hospital. A really enjoyable poem Kaite, though I didn't find it too sad, more hopeful... It shows you are ready to go forth. It's always sad to leave those you bond with. Superb write!

Moving on is always tough. This is a great write as it shows you are being strong and have hope that these changes will bring more happiness.
