The Fallen Angel's Banishment

by Sara   Apr 20, 2006

The angel wings fell from the sky. The morbid said all good will die. The heavens cried their forgotten tears, but while the thunder boomed no one could hear.
Wingless and broken she stood up from the mud. Frightened and lost, her back covered in blood. Her arms reacher out toward heaven, but grasping nothing n its place. What was the crime she committed? Was she wrong to dream of his face?
Heaven's gates were closed. Locked forever. She hung her head low and knew it was for the better. She went against her people to do what felt right. Sometimes you just can't bring the one you love into the light.
He stepped out of the darkest shadows into her view. A smile came upon his face showing that he knew. Tears filled her eyes as he wrapped her in his arms. She kissed him weakly this time there was no alarms. No one to catch their signs of love, and no one to find out about their unborn baby they dreamed of.
Taking her hand he led her into his world of night. She was lost in his kiss and she didn't care if it was wrong or right.
