The Memories

I sit in my little corner,
that blocks out the world
and to make it seem ok
I find my memories of us

The laughing
and the stupid games
the singing
and even the learning

I remember growing up together
even if it was for a short time
well, if u could count
3 years short

but then and now it seemed longer
and the bond was made forever
we swore distance wouldn't change us
and that no matter what we'd be friends

I laugh at those memories now
because we were so naive
Time has changed us
and i don't think we fought it

The love between friends
is a great bond
that if the friendship is great
can last forever.
