Frozen in Time

by Disenchanted   Apr 21, 2006

Frozen with her memories
A flute plays a melody
Drowning out the sounds of her screams
As blood seeps through the seems
Filling the gap between reality and dreams.

Blood coats the floor of an empty room
The air all around her is filled with doom
She's crying and praying
Hoping this will all end soon
But nothing can stop this
The scenes keep playing and playing

tears streak down her face
Her heart is up against her heart It's like a race
The flute plays a melody a sad tune
One to a song she's knew
The one her mother use to sing
Before she fell asleep.

"Some day I'll be gone from you forever
Tomorrow might be the end,
If only I knew we wouldn't last forever
My heart to you I'd never lend"

"Like a fallen star in a sea of dreams
I'll cherish everyday you have with me
so close your eyes prepare to dream
Because tomorrow could be your last day with me"

That was the song that traumatized her.
