Could Not See

I could not see
The things you felt
They weren't even for me
These things cannot be helped

I could not see
That you seem so distant
How can all this pain be?
I wish I was more persistent

I could not see
That she had fallen for you
It wasn't just me
The people that love you, now becomes two

I don't know why
I could not see the signs
This little heart is going to die
We do not follow the same lines

The tears I feel now
Are real and true
I love you, but I don't know how
The tears I shed, more then a few

You could not see the pain
I feel in my broken heart
These feelings put me to shame
Your emotions, I cannot chart

You cannot see my face
Now that it is replaced with hers
For you, my love, i willingly chase
But i give you up for hers
