Growing up,
She was my childhood best friend,
But they say the good things always end,
I regret not breaking the trend,

We were side by side each day in school,
I remember the times we spent swimming at the neighborhood pool,
She's been gone for a while now,
It's sad but it's true,
But if I ever get the chance,
I would tell her that I stay true and only for you,

Now I pass by her old house each day to school,
I stop and say, "Damn that girl was mad cool"
Just to think of her smile,
Would bring me peace for a while

Last time I saw her,
I gave her some jewelry,
It was nice to know how much she knew me,
I felt obligated to write this,
Because it gives me bliss,
And if I ever talk to her again I would say this,

I miss you a lot I know that is true,
And I'll be here for you now through and through,
I'm really sorry for breaking the contact,
But if I see you again I promise to make up for all that

I really like this poem, it kinda reminds me of the poem i wrote bout my best friend. We grew up together, and just recently shes been ignoring me.
So, maybe what your said in your poem is true for some, the good things always end.

Nice job on this one, you show the real meaning of friendship. Reemember though man, let it breathe, let it fly like a bird. and you cant go wrong. That was another great poem man. Keep it up.
