Star Crossed Lovers

A tale of star crossed lovers
Their destiny fated
Both would die
Because their love was hated

Not because of family feuds
Or a jealous friend
But it was their love
That killed them in the end

She came from a broken family
That left nothing but shed tears
And trust issues
That followed through the years

He came from a happy family
Yet still he was broken hearted
Knowing it would end
He couldn't help what was started

She made him jealous
Even though it was all a lie
And as she pushed him way
Secretly she'd cry

Then one day
She couldsn't take the pain
She had lost her true love
Her heart was finally slain

She called and told him everything
About her desperate plan
And how she couldn't commit
But all he said was "yes you can"

Still to her
Nothing felt alright
So she did something dreadful
As day turned into night

The next day she was found
She had taken her own life
And next to her laid a note
Saying "I can't be your wife"

He soon realized what she had done
And couldn't stand another broken heart
So he got into his car
As the world fell apart

He finally got to the cliff
Suicides sweet, dear friend
And as he jumped
He brought this tale to its sad sad end.
