Silent child

by LauraB   Apr 21, 2006

I love the way you giggle
and your red rosy cheeks.

I love your happy laugh.
it sounds like little squeaks.

Too many times has the laughter been broken by the crack of your mothers aggressive hand.

Oh poor child, how long it will take for you to understand.

You always stayed silent,
not aword was spoken.

and now each tiny bone is broken.

and you will stay silent and rest in peace.
your horrid life has made its release.
