Your Words

Three tears fall down my cheek that night,
I say to myself everything will be alright.
I remember what you told me that day,
And it has helped me along the way.

I am strong and i can pull though,
I can do anything that i put my mind to,
It is something that i keep in mind,
When i can't see, when i am blind.

Just thinking of those words help me get by,
I dryed all the tears that were in my eyes,
I get up and put a smile on my face,
Your words, i will always embrace.

    This is really good. A very strong poem. Great job on this but on the last line of the first stanza it reads:
    And it has helped my along the way.
    I think that you mean "me along the way", just thought I'd bring that to your attention. But this is a really good poem. Great job on this! Keep it up!
