You left us here on earth with vivid memories of you.
We know you rest with God now but our lives remain unglued.
You've touched us all with your presence and your love for basketball,
And we reminice on times with you as our silent teardrops fall.
Although we will never see you shoot another free throw,
Your loving spirit will remain with us everywhere we go.
I can see you up in heaven with your basketball in hand,
Looking down on us, trying to help us understand
That you're resting with the Lord now, free of all your pain,
So we try to take a breath and see the sun after the rain.
But regardless you will forever remain in our hearts,
