A Blessing In The Storm

by J Saucier   Apr 22, 2006

I remember when we first fell for each other, you were all I wanted, and there was no other. Hurricane Katrina, for me, was a blessing in disguise. Katrina is what led me to fall in love with your hazel brown eyes. There was a blessing in that storm because we found each other, and now that I look to the future, I see another storm to weather. In the begin we were inseparable, our future looked so bright, now the thought of losing you is keeping me up all night. I can't imagine to loose something I've looked for, for so many years, to see you in the arms of another male, is enough to bring this man to tears. Now I'm looking at the horizon, listening to love songs, and I hope this love we share keeps me from weathering this storm alone. Life without you will be undoubtedly hard, but I'm always going to love you and put us in the hands of God. I love you girl. Please vote and comment.
