I like how you used some personification:

"A new day upon the Earth.
The darkness surrounds us
Wrapping us in a dark cloak"

I thought that was a good one. This is a good poem and I can tell you worked hard on it. :)

The imaginative in this poem is great. I enjoyed reading this, and some of the lines amazed me. Keep writing!

Only problem i had with this one was the "golden gold" line..
