The innocence of childhood

I see the world from a child's eyes,
and what i see is so pure,
so different from reality,
so much like a heavenly dream.

i see the world in a heavenly glow,
every shade of every color,
every object is a throne,
every man is a king.

i see a world where cruelty,
is nothing but a word,
and kindness rains all around,
happiness is aglow.

i see a world where slaves,
are not a reality,
where whips are a sweet,
that do not singe the skin.

i see a world were violence,
is a thing of the past,
the world is united,
and wars are no man's dream.

i see a world with a glowing sun,
were men do not envy,
were greed does not corrupt the mind,
and jealousy is confided to stories.

i see that world,
within which every man is a hero,
no women is venerable,
no child goes through hunger.

i see a world with no pain,
and wish for it to be real,
but with a saddening lurch,
i come back to reality.

i have seen that world,
and do not want it to end,
and so with tears in my eyes,
i wish forever to be a simple innocent child.
