Fairytale War

Bang! Bang! Bang! was Last
Then there came a loud crash!
"what was that?" a stranger heard.
Another replied " Just the caw of a do-do bird"
A hiss so fast!
Another crash!
Thump! Thump! Thump!
Someone pointed "look at that lump!"
...Everyone stopped to listen.
...Someone in the distance glisten.
"looks like flame of a dragon"
"no its gold in a wagon"
Click, Click, Click.
A silent tick...
Bang and Boom!
Sound filled all the rooms.
Trees sprang and started to run.
The elves who sang left their fun.
Mermaids grew wings and started to fly.
They saw the dragons sashay right by.
And as they flew someone started to yell.
Clank, Clank, Clank. "that sounds like a bell!"
"what was that?" came the voice of one.
They do not know it was a gun.
Then a unicorn said " look at that star!"
It was a missile for the start of war...
