5 Simple Rules

You're never gonna understand
The things I feel inside
So please read these 5 rules I set
And be kind and abide

I ask you not to cut yourself
I know it helps the pain
But if you keep on cutting
It WILL drive you insane

I ask you not to spread around
The things that I have done
Because it makes me angry
And then I'm not much fun

I ask you not to say mean things
Because the break my heart
And 'cause your 'sposed to keep me whole
And not tear me apart

I ask you to laugh for me
When I need a smile
Because when I'm really down
A grin makes life worth while

My Rules aren't hard to follow
So if your with me to the end
Follow my 5 simple rules
To being my best friend
