Red light

by jon clodfelter   Apr 22, 2006

Under the crimson red lights.

my body collapses and there i lay.

horns honking in the wake of the night.

my soul is crushed and there i stay.

The driver was a deppresive man

With alcohol in his head

IT was the red light he ran.

That made my legs go dead.

my head says no, but i cant help crying.

the darkness is fading and light is coming through.

i think positive, though i know im dying.

when i get to the pearly gates, ill be thinking of you.

-dedicated to pastor Mary Ludvigson.
