Last breath

After she hung up the phone
she stripped off her clothes
and filled up the shower
this was the decision she chose

she laid among the water
and tears fell from her eyes
all the memories came back to her
all of his stories that turned to lies.

as she sunk below
her last air floated to the top
she thought "goodbye old fellow"
"this is the end of it all"

"i'll sure miss you,
and i love you,
forever is true."
you never know what you had
until it's gone.
the moral of her story, though sad.

she was in this pain
so she did this with him to blaim,
because of somethings he did
but he never did claim.

all she could do was cry,
she always tried to be truthful
but he never was
which then became hurtful.

she had finally had enough
and talked to him
and called him out on his bluff.
which soon led to her painful death
with her last words
"I love you," in one last breath.
